"The
Realized Woman"
oil on canvas, 3'6"h x 4'0"w, 1991 |

At
the first instance, this painting creates an emphasis of the
figure of a mother feeding her baby as the most beautiful of
natural relationships in the world. At the same time, another
child is resting her left arm over her mother, providing a sense
of comfort and security. The figure of a dove appears as a symbol
of love and kindness.
This scenario invites the spectator to recognize the invaluable
profoundness of maternal feeling. In the painterly composition,
the colors employed bring into focus the maternal figure and
her children.
